The Torch's website, KennedyTorch.org, was named the second best high school newspaper website in the state of Iowa on Friday by the Iowa High School Press Association.
KennedyTorch.org finished behind Iowa City High's The Little Hawk and ahead of four other publications.
The Torch was launched in late Novemeber of this year. Making this The Torch's first year as a online publication, along with being a print publication for over 40 years.
